How to Cook

The key to a tender beef brisket is cooking it low and slow. This gives its tough connective tissue time to break down and melt, resulting in a moist and flavorful meat.

You can smoke your brisket at a low temperature (around 225°F) for 4 to 6 hours, or let it simmer in a slow cooker on the low setting for 8 to 10 hours. The internal temperature should be between 195°F and 205°F.

Perfect Pairings

We boast an exceptional collection of specialty marinades and meat seasonings that are perfect for adding even more flavor to your beef brisket.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Prime brisket?

A Prime brisket is a cut of beef from the lower chest or breast of a cow. Prime means that it has received the highest grade from the USDA, indicating that it has superior marbling. This results in a more tender and flavorful cut.

Is beef brisket tough or tender?

Any beef brisket you find online or in stores will naturally be tough. This is because it’s a hardworking muscle that supports a big portion of the cow’s weight. However, our brisket will become deliciously tender when it’s cooked low and slow.

Is Choice or Prime brisket of better quality?

Both are exceptional quality meat cuts. However, Prime is a step above Choice. Only 2 to 3% of beef gets the Prime grade! That means that this cut has incredible tenderness, marbling, and flavor.
