From Vision to Reality

After Don Pedro passed away, his relatives began working at a large grocery chain in California. George, David’s business partner, went through the butcher training program at Stater Bros. The California state program was rigorous, emphasizing adherence to stringent industry standards and proficiency in various aspects of meat cutting, including preparing fresh cuts, custom cuts, seasoning, tenderizing, and grinding. 

George worked there for almost 30 years. But he and David always wanted to open their own butcher shop. So, they opened their first location in Rialto, CA with a singular goal: to offer the finest cuts for everyone, from discerning meat enthusiasts to home cooks. Their goal resonated with customers, and Don Peter’s Carniceria has since opened another location in Whittier, CA!

Family-owned and operated, Don Peter’s Carniceria showcases a selection of the highest-grade Japanese and Australian Wagyu, USDA Prime, chicken, pork, lamb, wild-caught seafood, and in-house specialties, like tender brisket jerky and unique Mexican candies
